I wanna share one of my fave Impressionist paintings aka Bal du (Dance at the) moulin de la Galette by French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir. I wonder if you’ve seen it or heard of Renoir b4? Also curious about whether Perryville library has a diverse selection of books on art/painting or not 🤔 Also can you let us know if Perryville accepts book donations in general?

I’m quite disappointed to learn that your Florida “friend” let you down in such a bizarrely stupid way, especially regarding your circumstance and all those times people heartlessly took advantage of your kindness and vulnerability so they could facilitate their cheap thrills previously 🤢 These “friends” haven’t any shame smh 🤦 Once again it proves this insipid society doesn’t deserve your esoteric qualities! Nonetheless, I’m equally glad that The Clearing is in safe hands now. Cannot wait for it to meet its future rightful owner soon 🙌🏻🙌🏻

It's all good with my friend. We got past that years ago and now it's ancient history. And The Clearing is in the clear because it just sold! Wild.

I’m forever in awe of your exquisite artwork 🥹

City of Light piece, incredibly crafted, reminds me of the fact you as a young girl used to tell ur mom that you were going to construct an alternate city, a city of goodness! And you were going to give all the streets fruit names like Strawberry Street, Orange Way, Banana Blvd. If Jodi ran out of fruit, she’d use veggies 😆 and if she’s out of veggies, she’d use flavors: French Vanilla Drive, Mint Way, Bubblegum Alley, etc 🍬🏙️✨ Your mind has always been brilliant and one of a kind ✨ I’m so looking forward to your Impressionism Era ! May your muse shine the way for us inquisitive fans into your limitless world of artistic creations 🪽

Strawberry Street and Banana Boulevard! I totally forgot about that! Where did you even find that? Are all my weird musings online? LOL

I think l learned that from a trivial facebook post close to 7 years ago; it stuck w me since it’s literally the cutest thing I had ever heard 🥹 Kinda one of your lore’s OG easter eggs haha.

Not all your whimsical musings are online (except for maybe some rare light hearted stuff like above) so no sweat xD Hope it wasn’t cringe of me for mentioning that cutesy fun fact 🙈✨

My FAVORITE kind of art 🖼️ is impressionism, my favorite artists are Monet and Renoir. I love The Clearing! Job well done Jodi. I see it’s not available on your art website anymore, someone must’ve bought it. One day if I ever get enough money I hope to buy an original.

Yeup! The Clearing got purchased a few days ago 🎉 Jodi’s art prints are pretty awesome too and they make great gifts for friends or yourself ✨ Jodi also sells Wristbands on her site under the Merchandise section in case you wanna get one 🤗 What an adorable puppy you got btw 🫶🏻

The black and white 'Clearing' is really great. Spatial awareness etc, and mood, depth.

Both Degas and Seurat drew a lot, Seurat in black crayon before his famous colour pieces. They're large works some of them even, and more soulful, or profound than his famous finished paintings. Perhaps you have seen them. And yeah, unfortunately as soon as an artist becomes public and known of, drawings and paintings you left with friends and galleries earlier in your career suddenly disappear. Perhaps its a way of gauging success :)

Please paint it soon. I am a fan of Impressionism.

It wasn't a super terrible thing. My friend just didn't do it after repeatedly saying otherwise so I had it shipped to someone who would. It's in the past now. I wanted to share the painting's meandering journey from Arizona to Florida to Iowa, then back to Arizona (it's complicated) -- and now to Michigan because it just sold!

Hi Jodi, I hope 🤞 one day to be able to speak with you, also I LOVE your art 🖼️. Prices are out of reach for myself, as I’m on a tight budget, maybe 1 day I’ll own just 1. Beautiful woman.
